Betsy Aiello Sanders
Learning Support Coordinator
As a visionary, a SAG/AFTRA, AEA actor, director, producer, filmmaker, writer, and teacher I have had the great pleasure of creating and working on hundreds of productions on stage, TV and film in New York City, across the United States, and internationally for 42 years. Which includes my most recent award-winning short film Glimpses- A Day In A Life, which I wrote, acted in and produced. Also, I have served as both teacher and director of acting and stage production at National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan, and served as Executive Director of Greenwood Performing Arts in South Carolina. I have worked over the course of two decades as an intuitive somatic coach, embodied yoga and meditation teacher, and 4th generation Usui Reiki Master with over 1000 hours of training in healing arts and meditation.
I currently serve as a Learning Support Coordinator for the One Humanity Leadership Coaching Program at George Washington University's Center for Excellence in Public Leadership.
My passions include my family, being a mother and a nonna, deep connections with all life forces, deepening my relationships, travel, yogic healing as well as performing arts and humanitarian work. This work has taken me to North Haiti to deliver aid, and supplies, and work with students in a small village school, the Texas/Mexico border to assist in offering aid and guidance to immigrants just released from detention, New York to offer embodied movement and meditation to Alzheimer's patients and a Girls home in Central Jersey offering embodied yoga and meditation practices as well as women’s leadership guidance.
Commonalities of my approach to all the work I do, share with my clients and my life philosophy are rooted in embodied mindfulness, deep listening, openness, and the practice of conscious presence.
