Giovanni Dicran Megighian

Dr. Giovanni Dicran Megighian MDS MSc(Lon) was born in Italy into an Armenian family and is a fourth-generation physician. He is a scientist, doctor, therapist and certified Life Corporate Medical and Health coach. He is a Practitioner Certified Coach (ICF Standards). His expertise includes complementary and academic medicines, linguistics and rehabilitation procedures.

He developed the MIOBALANCE Technique and MIO Miobalance Intra Oral Device, as an integrated program for the management of epigenetic stress. In 2010 he created the Miobalance Institute, bringing together scientists, experts and luminaries endeavoring to integrate medicine, cognitive science and wellbeing.

Inspired by world renowned inspirational leaders patronizing this initiative, he dedicated his life and career to developing and testing the new technique. Projects with Zerbanoo Gifford (The ASHA Foundation), Diana Maclellan (Alexander Technique), Federico Perali (ELL Foundation, World Bank, EURICSE), Karen Anand (KA Gourmet Kitchen) and Liviu Steier (Warwick University) have generated studies exploring the link between traditional Ayurveda, Ippocratic medicine and wellbeing behavioral economics. He is currently holding workshops and teaching at Ananda Spa (Narendra Nagar India) and The George Washington University Centre for Excellence in Public Leadership (USA).
