Wendy Sherwin Swire is founder of Swire Solutions, LLC, an executive coaching, dispute resolution and Neuroleadership consulting firm based in the Washington, DC area. 

She is the  co-author of the book Anytime Coaching: Unleashing Employee Performance (published by Berrett-Koehler  and available on Amazon).  Ms. Swire has worked with over two thousand senior executives and leaders to improve workplace performance through executive coaching, consulting, training, and conflict resolution services.  She is bi-lingual in Spanish and has worked with many cross-cultural clients and audience. Ms. Swire has taught leadership and coached clients throughout the US, Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America.

A sample of her clients includes: Federal Reserve Board of Governors, National Institute of Health, US Agency for International Development, GAO, FDA, Accenture Digital Global, Adobe  and the World Bank. Prior to forming Swire Solutions, Ms. Swire worked as an international economist and as a banker on Wall Street. She graduated from Georgetown University’s Leadership Coaching Program and holds a Professional Certified Coach credential from the International Coach Federation.  

She runs the DC Neuroleadership Group (previously affiliated with the Neuroleadership Institute) and has worked with neuroscientists and researchers to develop curriculum and coaching material in this area. She has taught applied neuroscience to Fortune 100 executive teams, executive coaches, senior military leaders and executive coaches.

Ms. Swire served as an Adjunct Professor at the Carey Graduate School of Business at Johns Hopkins. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College (BA) and from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (Tufts/Harvard University) for her Master’s Degree.

She lives in Bethesda, Maryland with her husband and two sons. Her hobbies include music, yoga, travel, spending time outdoors and reading. She is currently on the Board of Directors of the Conflict Resolution Center of Montgomery County. Ms. Swire actively supports a school in Leogane, Haiti where she has visited with her sons. She is training to be a tea sommelier.
