Rising from humble beginnings, Vinay Kumar is an ICF (International Coach Federation) certified Leadership/Executive Coach, Facilitator, and thought leader with over 35 years of practical business, managerial, and leadership experience in Fortune 500 companies, Small Business and the Federal Government, which includes Gulf Oil Corporation and the US Environmental Protection Agency.
Vinay is the co-author of Language and the Pursuit of Leadership Excellence: How Extraordinary Leaders Build Relationships, Shape Culture and Drive Breakthrough Results. His book is required reading at many well-known universities, federal agencies and corporations in their MBA and leadership coaching & leadership development programs. They include NASA Goddard Space Center, Georgetown University, George Mason University, College of William and Mary, Newfield Network, Harley-Davidson, Coca-Cola, Trip Advisors.
During Vinay’s career, he gained practical hands-on experience and deep understanding and appreciation for the entire business continuum, from sales through delivery and service. During his career and personal life, Vinay has experienced both successes and failures. He is fond of saying that he has earned a Ph.D. from the School of Hard Knocks, University of Life. His professional and personal life experiences enable Vinay to relate to the numerous challenges leaders face.
Vinay works with leaders at a number of different U.S. Federal agencies and private corporations. They include The World Bank, Booz Allen, US Secret Service, TSA, DHS, DOD, FDA, NASA, Navy, Farragut Systems, REI Systems, TEOCO Corporation.
